Your wbc is probably low because you are still hypO. Once your labs come up further in range and headed for mid range to see how you do it there at, your wbc should show more improvement.

Yes...you are still hypo. I would feel just horrible with levels like yours. Your mid range for your FT4 is 1.11 and your mid range for your FT3 is 4.6 The goal is to achieve mid range and then experiment from there. What doses are you on? Big Hugs...Kathy

thanks for all the comments, my endo called and said quit taking the methimazole, I was on 5mg a day. I quit taking the meth last Thursday and so far I feel good, before quitting I was really feeling like crap. I just need some energy.

Did your Endo say how long to quit the Methimazole? Be aware that if you stop it for too long of a time at the 5 mg dose you last were at, you will rebound hypER quickly. Then your Endo is likely to come back and say your ATD wasn't working for you because you went hypER without it.

Ideally it is best to take no more than several days away from the ATD and restart on half the doses such as 2.5 mg per day.

You might want to check with the Endo and find out for sure because we would not like to see you rebound hypER and have to start all over again with the 'X' amount of MMI.

Normally we get down as low as 1.25 mg per day of the MMI to stay stabled (or could be 2.5 mg per day) for a number of months.
