Do you ever get back to "normal"

My DH and I are having problems. He tells me I've changed a lot ( I don't think I've changed a lot, just def more irritable, no sex drive) So he knows this guy at work who's wife had/has graves and had a TT a couple years ago. He said that he said she changed a lot too and never did get back to how she was. So he I guess is worried that I'll never be the same person he married. I think its more the normal changes of having kids and getting older than it is changes from graves, but maybe I just can't see if since I'm not outside the box. Anyone have an insight? We've been married for 5 years, together for 7 years and have a 3 year old and 10 month old.

Yes the key is accepting we will have to take the bad days along with the good. I don't think Normal is a realistic expectation for anyone once they have this disease. Your body changes like the weather from day to day and so will how you are feeling. The key is to do what we can and do our best each day to get through what ever gets in our way. We are not like "normal" people in a sense that we have this auto immune disease.
We all change in some respect. Mostly because our priorities have to change in order to maintain good health. If we don't have good health we can't maintain anything else in our lives.
