I'm glad to see more gals that are posting that they are pregnant. Congratulations and I pray that our thyroid levels are in normal range for the babies' sake.
I'm off PTU and all meds. Pregnancy has help me go into remission, but I know it after my pregnancy Grave might come back. (Since Graves is an auto immune disease, pregnancy relaxes your immunity so Graves tend to go into remission.)
Just wondering if any of you are thinking about breast feeding. I know you are not suppose to if taking antithyroid drugs. For me, it all depends on how my thyroid levels are and if I need to take PTU after delivery.
How about those of you that had a baby already while dealing with Graves? Were you able to breat feed? Did Graves flare up after delivery for you or did anyone stay in remission?
I each person will be different, depending on their thyroid levels. Just wondering what other's experiences are.

I am currently pregnant too 19 weeks. I am down to 50mg PTU a day. It seems my Graves is doing the same thing as yours. I asked my Endo about breastfeeding and this is what he told me..that it will really just depends on my levels closer to birth and how much PTU I am on. That if my levels are low enough without any PTU than I could probably breastfeed for a few months, but I would have to be monitored. I'm lucky I have an Endo who is all for breastfeeding, but I believe my choice will not to breastfeed just in case.

I am 26 weeks pregnant and saw my endo two weeks ago. I asked about breastfeeding and he is all for it. He said if I stay below 150 mg per day of PTU he saw no problem with me breastfeeding. I am currently on 50 mg per day.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
