I was on the Sprintec birth control pill after for several months before my graves got really bad and I went to the dr. I had stopped taking the pill because I thought it was causing my symptoms. Then I learned I had Graves. I am taking methamizole I want to go back on a birth control pill/patch/etc. Has anyone heard if one is better than another for graves?

I do know that most doctors want their female patients of child bearing age to be on birth control to avoid possible pregnancy if they have RAI and take birth control for a year after the RAI treatment.
