I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Last March I lost me father in law. We were not very close but my levels still went up and the stress of traveling and grieving and supporting family members was upon me as well as all our family. I just wanted to say don't let Graves disease control how your body wants to grieve. Just like everyone said, continue to eat right, exercise, take meds, add a beta blocker for a while if need be. Your levels may go up but lab every 6 weeks and you still will be fine. Maybe lab every 4-5 weeks if your going though a stressful time.
Again, I would not hold in your emotions.
Please take care of your self, I am sure your grandmother would have wanted you to be well.
I hope you are doing ok.
Hugs
Angel
