I have different reference ranges than you Guys as obviously I am in Australia. We were discussing this in an earlier posting.
My levels as of yesterday were:
FT4 ..18.0 (1.0-19.0)
TSH...2.26 (0.50 - 4.00)
FT3...4.8 (3.5 - 6.5)
Obviously those who can work it out will see that if I had the same levels in the States, I would be hyper but according to Australian Reference Ranges, I am within normal limit.
Also another statement was made that I am depriving my body of Iodine.....Umm...
I am on Thyroxine ..75mcg daily.
Kelly....in regards to what you mentioned in your last posting here.....I dont intend to die a slow , very painful death.
The issue has been reported.
I intend to keep posting here and making my life positive and as Madmary once told me ....getting rid of the energy suckers in my life lol.

I'm not supposed to have tea's due to blood thinners but I crave them even more lately. I'm sure it's because I can't...and no one tells me I can't do something. heee heee.
In Adrenal Fatigue your adrenal glands function, but not enough to maintain your normal, healthy homeostasis. Their output of regulatory hormones has been diminished by over-stimulation. This over- stimulation can be caused either by a very intense single stress or by chronic or repeated stresses that have a cumulative effect.
You may be suffering from Adrenal Fatigue if you regularly experience one or more of the following symptoms:
1.tired for no reason
2.trouble getting up in the morning even when you go to bed at a reasonable hour
3.feeling rundown or overwhelmed
4.can't bounce back from stress or illness
5.crave salty and sweet snacks
6.feeling best only after 6 PM
Stimulates fat deposits and can result in weight gain.
Increased fat accumulation around waist.
Increases blood pressure.
Increases protein breakdown that can lead to muscle loss.
Causes demineralization of bone that can lead to osteoporosis.
Interferes with skin's ability to regeneration and heal.

Cortisol is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent.
Suppresses the immune system.
Immune shutdown: yeast, viral, and bacterial infections.
Poor memory: Brain (hippocampus) atrophy
Estrogen dominance, leading to PMS, uterine fibroids, and breast cancer.
Increases blood sugar, which leads to reduced insulin sensitivity and diabetes
and this is why I use Iodine~
We all would feel better I am thinking if we lowered our salt intake to daily reguired amount. Although if I remember correctly you've had RAI so if you are stableized then you should be able to go back to a normal diet. But for those who are still Hyper they should stay clear of and probably be below the daily amount recommended.
Just my opinion
Kelly
I knew you where going to ask that because it fits everyday living cheers to that. My resource was www.adrenalfatique.org and yes it is ok for me becuase I am able to again. My BP tends to go up so I drink water & Celtic salt each day that bring it down to normal. The Iodoral I take 25 tabs and that clears the brain fog and cobb webs alone with shreds weight. I try to believe and live the way that helps me the best this doesn't mean its going to work the same with others. Debbie.
