I have heard the wonderful stories of remission from ted. I have ted and I think it is settling somewhat. When it first started, I had to go to have my cornea scraped about everyday for a month or 2, then 2 to3 times a week, then to weekly, monthly and now I have graduated to yearly. yay.... I no longer have that problem, and my eyes have almost went back to normal but I still have the redness and burning at times. I can go days without it then wham, they start again. Those of you that have went through all this and now in remission, can you give me some advice and did you have same symptoms? Do you have any problems now? I use lotemax up to 3 times a day, restasis 2 times a day, genteal gel at night, and systane drops throughout the day for dryness. I also sleep with head elevated. I am just so ready for this to be over with. April will be 3 years.

I went to the doctor a while ago to see about my allergies. He rubbed my arm and stuck things under the skin. Nothing. He poked and prodded, his phlebotomist drew so much blood people thought that we were dating. The tests all came back negative. Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy. It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.

I do not use the eye drops once I began with the supplements little by little two and a half years ago.
I just have dry and gritty eyes at times. Much improved since adding the supplements...

Since you are on Synthroid, I would look into keeping any vitamins/supplements away from it by a few hours just to be safe.
