If it may be helpful, this is where I posted references to the thyroid/CHF connection. My most recent comment on that thread relates to my increased understanding of sub-clinical central hypothyroidism.

I insisted that my husband be checked for his thyroid before the doctor gave him antidepressants, when his heart rate was as high as mine was at the worst part of GD.
To my surprise, he was hypothyroid. But it was a few more months and he was practically on his death bed before he got the most important diagnosis of CHF. The CHF made his heart race because his heart function was so low it was ineffective otherwise.
