Would you take another baby

Reading Scgramma posts, a new baby due, asking you all would you take on another one? We have said definitely not. I do not want to think about the possibility. But it sure is real as so many of you know.

Is the answer always this: Do what is best for the child, and that will be better for everyone else? If the bio parent does not, or can not care for a young one, does it then help the bio by taking the pressure off when the young one is elsewhere? Is it better for the gp or other kin to take in both the child and the bio parent? Does that then add pressure to the entire situation, like a pressure cooker? Maybe every situation is different. Maybe the first and bottom line is always "child first". IDK, but more I ponder, more I think it's "child first". Take care of the pennies, and the dollars will take care of themselves? I have some time on my hands today, gd is out cold from chemo.

About 6 months ago my daughter said to me "I really want to have another baby" I turned to her and said "Well I don't so don't even think about it!"
@ months ago she told me she thinks she might be pregnant, thankfully it turned out to be false, but I was worried for awhile. I really don't know if I could take on another 1 at this point, but the thought of giving it up was heartbreaking. I am so thankful that I didn't have to make the decision. I really don't know what I would've done.

I wouldn't, couldn't take on another one. I am single and my little ones are both under 3. They absolutely wear me out and I could never take away from their care to take on another one. It wouldn't be fair to any of us including a new baby. I know I couldn't handle it.
