Thanks to Peggy,I now have a way and the help I need to fight this.
I told my daughter that If she signed this child over to a stranger to adopt that she no longer had a mother and that I would never speak to her again and that she was never to call me again. Our relationship has never been good but if and when she does this I will never get over it.I will of course always love her but I don't like her and I don't want anything to do with her.I am going to start proceedings to terminat her her rights to the boys today before she tries something like that with them. And she would if she thought about it and thought it would hurt me!!
Keep up the good fight. I pray it all works out.
Have you talked to the foster mother about all of this? What is she saying? She is probably attached to the little girl, so don't take it too personally if she is hoping to adopt her. When you fall in love with a child, giving them up is difficult, and that's probably where she's at. Still, I think a home with her siblings and grandparents would be best for her. I also don't blame you for how you feel about your daughter. I'm pretty sure I'd be feeling the exact same way.
