grammy22 I must admit I laughed while reading your post. Only becuase that is where I am right now. Our tank is empty. If I were next to you I would just put my arms around you hug you and we could laugh and cry together. School is back in so I pray that you can get a break. Find something you like to fill that emotional tank with. How is the oldest healing? Know that I am in your corner laughing with you, crying with you and going crazy with you. Smile.

I took a stuffed animal for a pillow and a blanket and curled up on my porch swing last night and watched the stars and listenedcto the damn tree frogs until I calmed down. I finally came back in all fell asleep. Now I have been up since two cause my dog decided she neededxto go out at 2 am. 4 hours until the kids get up first day of schools. If it were not so hot I would take the day off and the the mountain.

She seems to be healing OK but the little bit of ozzy stuff on the bandage has her panicing. She dies not want the water in the shower to run over it like the doctor has requested so shower time is turning into a slow hour of frustration.

In the argument Monday with the oldest about the youngest's open hose at school I threw my car keys on the driveway in frustration. The car door clicker that cost $250.00 to replace flew into pieces all over the driveway. I am still missing one piece of it but now it works every time I use it instead of every once in a great while. At least something good has come out of this week.

Made me laugh too. My grandkids went home to mom two weeks ago for a trial visit for mom to get custody, but it won't work and they will be back. And what you just shared is exactly how it goes. It's non stop and it comes at a time when we have less energy to deal with it. That's why this site exists, a place to come to vent and commiserate. To read and realize you are not alone. A place to decide you really can do it one more day.

Sometimes I think this time of year is worse than the Christmas holidays!

TDAP vaccinations and check-ups. Shopping for clothes, book bags, school supplies for three kids. (I find that taking each one separately is better, but that means more trips to the mall.) Orientation. Back to school nights. School pictures that they have to get ready for. TRYING to get them back on a schedule. And of course Labor Day weekend when we're hosting the family on Saturday AND Sunday.

I can't wait until they're gone most of the day and I bet you'll feel better then, too! HUGS!

I'm with you. I feel pulled in 99 directions but I can only go in 4 or 5! to top it off, I have a stupid cold that is kicking my butt. My husband is having his ankle joint surgically replaced in 5 weeks and I get to do it all by myself while he heals. Meanwhile my DD announced she's getting married, again.

Sometimes calgon just isn't enough. I sat in the closet and cried yesterday and I felt better. Today Im too wiped out to care!
