This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. It's Official....4/13/12 was our adoption day!! Alliance for Children's Rights had a adoption party for all of us. It rained on the way there and back, Liam didn't take a nap, and when we got there; so many families with their children he couldn't nap. He was so over tired that the judge fit him in so we could leave so, he could nap. They took many photo's however; most of them he was crying or running around with his balloon's. We can't explain how happy we are that he is in our family forever and NO MORE DCFS visits!

Congratulations! I had my last CPS visit yesterday I was told, this case is basicaly closed waiting for adoption on May 29th!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
