So for Mothers day dd tell me shes pregnant. Shes about 6 weeks along, shes nearly 27 and weve had our Gd for two years due to abuse and neglect she suffered at the hands of her mother (dd).

Baby daddy is a 21 year old cook at Applebees. Heres a quote "maybe this is what will straighten my life out, and now I can get Medicaid and food stamps All excellent reasons to have a child. Not to mention the idea that why the hell was Gd not important enough to get her life straightened out for?

She admitted to drinking and using just a week ago.

Im so pissed. And heres another fact. We love love love Gd.........we will raise her and continue to provide for her the consistency, stability and love shes come to rely on. Shes doing amazing :)

And we know in our heart that we cannot do this again. So when the inevitable call comes from DCFS or her or whatever they will be given my parents number who still contend that we stole this little girl and because Im a therapist I manipulated the courts to take this child away. Yeah like we wanted to steal a child who was 5 and emotionally damaged. Ridiculous.

Im steadfast in this decision that we will not raise another one of her children. But of course guilt is creeping in asking me why I don't care about the baby like we care about GD. So I guess guilt is just going to have to ask that question because we are DONE........

Damn dd...........she "could no longer afford birth control" but finds money for booze and drugs.
