Hi wanted some advice, not sure what to do or where to go from here. Here is my history, hope someone can shed some light as my Dr. Hasn't given me much info.
35 yrs old, 5 foot 6 inches. 180 pounds. I had episodes of irregular heart beat for 3 years with chest pain and pressure. All normal EKG. Normal chest x ray. Normal TSH level of 4.1.
Felt shooting pain in my neck one night and felt a small marble sized lump below my right line. Went to Dr next day, he didn't address lump but said I had ear infection on right ear. He felt my thyroid was swollen on my LEFT side. Sent me for labs and took antibiotics. Neck pain never went away. Thyroid labs, liver function, calcium all came back normal. Vitamin D was 19.2. Low is anything under 29.0.
Went in for follow up, he diagnosed me with a goiter and sending me for ultrasound in 4 days.
Throughout all this I have unexplained weight gain, I exercise 3 times a week, don't smoke or drink. Don't even drink soda or coffee. I have a large abdomen, looks like I'm preggo sometimes. Very fatigued, wanna nap but I can easily fight my way through the tiredness. Hair is super thin and falls out like rain! I have to cover it when I'm cooking even. Recently have problems with right tailbone pain and difficulty walking when it flares up.
No menstrual changes, but occasionally have lotsa gas and can hear my stomach churning even when I'm not hungry.
Does anyone have a clue what I should do? Or what I need to discuss with my Dr. I have been a healthy and muscular 160 pound girl for ever. In the last 3 years I seem to be going downhill and want to stop it before its too late. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

My stomach feels bloated and still have some breathing issue but believe more related to weight and bloating.
My meds are too high (low TSH and slightly high Free T4).
I do not regret the surgery at all. I had no need for pain meds after and had a drain for a day. My scar is thin. You still have to deal with symptoms while meds get adjusted.
Let me know how it all turns out!
Labs came back with elevated t3 and t4 for the 5th time since February. The goiter is causing me to have difficulty swallowing and talking.
