Hi all new member of this group, anyway, lol. I ate some pizza Friday night, then went to bed. Had heartburn and the pizza kept repeating on me during the night and Saturday. Now, I am having this horrible burning sensation right at the bottom of my throat and chest. It doesn't matter what I eat now. Been taking some antacids, Gas X, seems to temporarily relieve the symptoms.
I heard heartburn symptoms can also mimic a heart attack but I work out, do cardio every day, strength training and don't feel shortness of breath, dizziness, sweats, numbness, tightness of the chest that a heart attack would normally cause.
I have white coat syndrome and am terrified of seeing the doctor! Does anyone else have this and it was diagnosed as GERD, heartburn and/or gastritis???

Yes, that pizza will do it every time. I feel your pain. I love so many things I can't have anymore!
