Acid Reflux generally effects the throat, down through the esophagus into the stomach, its a burning pain, as acid comes up towards your throat. It's not a "general Pain" it's very specific, a burning acid pain.

Arm, Check and breast pain doesn't sound like the normal symptoms, you should probably go in and see your Dr.

Could be the anxiety maybe doing that burning & chest & brest pain. I went to the doctor they put me on meds.

Ive notices the same thing with the reflux. I couldnt figure out if my attacks caused acid reflux or acid reflux was causing my panic attacks. So im constantly drinking alka selzer and praying that it helps

So u having the burning in your arms & chest? Do u also have left brest pain?

I take omeprazole once a day & it seems to help me.

Okay so Acid Reflux is caused by your Esophageal Sphinchter muscle weakening and not working properly, it allows acid to go back up towards your trachea and throat. Panic attacks don't cause Reflux.

Prilosec doesn't cause the symptoms you've mentioned.

So, neither of you mentioned which meds you were on for the Anxiety, so I checked a couple of the usual.

They do have muscle aches, side pain, stomach pain as "possible side effects"

Another thing to think about, sometimes if your stomach is just not happy and your reflux is bad, you can get gas build up that gets under your ribs and moves up towards your chest, and it hurts like hell, it can feel like your having a heart attack.

So if it happens again, maybe take a gas pill and see if that helps, also put a heating pad over your rib cage/under your breast.

Sweetgirl35 anxiety can not cause Gerd but it can cause chest pains and make GERD symptoms worse

And anxiety can cause heartburn
