It's easier said than done, but LEAVE where you are - find a way. An unfriendly gay atmosphere means you are not among friends. Your being friends with those girls is a lot like if you were at war or imprisoned - you might make friends - that doesn't mean anything. Go to a progressive city - they always have gays and big brained people who don't judge nor condemn alternative life styles. I speak as someone who's relocated from Oklahoma to Seattle. The cost of living is higher, but the living is higher. Its hard to do and you may need to depend on others shortly, which I have a big problem doing, but the initial struggle will pay off opposed to everyday suffering there. I see family all the time: gays dressed to the nines, lesbians holding hands, queens, butch - you name it and city girls love gays. So FYI. Doesn't have to be Seattle, but shop around and think BIG. It means bigger prices, but also bigger minds.

Oh, well...that is different. I can advise that you keep your friends close then and confide in the ones who will talk things over with you without being critical or hurtful. It is a pickle finding oneself without family, but in our community, a new family connection can be found among friends. Just make sure all your friends are good. You'll need their support as you grow. As far as bi-hate, it may be more misunderstanding, but say away from it. Just stick with your good friends.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
