This seems to be a hot button issue just now, given the proposed ban on circumcision in San Francisco. Obviously there are people with very strong feelings about this, and I can't speak to that.
I'm always just happy to have access to another penis, so I don't have strong feelings one way or the other, except when uncircumsized guys don't keep themselves clean, if that makes sense?

No preference, though I'm not out there looking for just any penis. I guess I have grown up enough to care about the rest of the body carrying the penis.

I guess l like it best when we are positive and helpful and back each other up. If I'm not interested in something, I just move on without saying anything. I get enough judgement and condemnation offline, so I try to avoid it here. It's just a thought.

I agree with a ban, except for men over 21. It shouldn't be done on children who don't have a say in the matter.

In my anatomy and physiology class the instructor has repeatedly mentioned the benefits of circumsizing for reducing the spread of hiv, and other diseases. I sometimes got irritated at his repeated mention of this, about how many men in certain countries lined up for the procedure. Apparently there aren't enough qualified people to do this in some countries.

All I could think was, lucky fellows that they chose to have this or not. I am thinking its better to leave things as nature intended. I don't know if there has been any counter studies or anyone questioning if there is any real benefit to having this done. I believe that its not really a matter of 'hygeine' but psychology, and social change in consciousness. Not always for the better. Before I comment any further I will attempt to look up more info, pro and con.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Lifematters....wow.....how old are you? Some people need to grow up. I had a reason for asking and I didn't want to give it until I got feed back. A very good friend of mine is uncircumsized and his gf of 5 years left him because he was. They never had sex of any type...they are christian/church going/etc people and she wouldn't give him a reason. He asked me what I thought of about the situation and I said I thought that was crazy. My point being...how shallow can people be? We know how shallow Lifematters can be....but come on to date someone for 5 years and then dump him because he has foreskin? That's crazy.

Well Lifematters....I'm 36 and I'm uncut as well. It doesn't matter to me either way, but to some people it does. I don't understand why it would matter...sorta like what you said "big nose or little nose" well to me it's not the size or anything like that...that matters....it's how you use it... I wish that I still had my foreskin, because I would like to feel the extra pleasure that the nerve ending in t give off. On other guys- i like both. But as far as uncut not being clean i think thats just guys being too lazy to wash themselves.

I've always preferred uncut, particularly the type that need to retracted manually even when erect. Can't say why exactly.

I've had both (in my love life). I'm circumsized, but my ex was not. We waited nearly 7 months before doing anything sexual and while it is always a little odd for me at first, I just get used to it. Usually, developing a relationship before you get sexual, little things like that don't matter. If he is a good man, and rest of him his ...well..good... lol than I wouldn't personally think it would matter. One guy, it actually made him a little more attractive to me.

My common sense tells me the foreskin is naturally there for a reason. Interesting how our God fearing, predominately Judeo Christian society feels the need to play God. Do they know something "he" doesn't? Didn't circumcision begin back in biblical times when desert dwelling cultures had limited water for bathing purposes, hence the practice was begun to prevent infection and ultimate death in newly born, hence perpetuating the race? I think we have enough water in most countries today to perform tasks essential to adequate hygeine. Don't cut the pee pee!

I am circumcized, so I guess that is why I prefer a penis that way. To me that look is "natural". I now have had opportunities to play with uncut penisis and it is not a problem for me as long as the forskin is not too long.

I find the head of the penis beautiful, so I like it when I can see it all the time, don't have to wait until my partner gets excited to see it again.

I haven't encountered a "dirty" penis yet because of forskin. Don't know how common a problem that is.

I'm cut. I do like uncut though for my lovers. I don't know why, I just find it much sexier.

it really depends..if your uncircumcised as long as you keep it clean..but the more or less all look the same hard..unless the uncircumcised guy has too much skin and it hangs over with is int that attractive... but there are more reason to not like someones pens then just cut or UN cut ya know.. theirs size shape,,curve!!
