it took me a while too, i guess just wait til your ready for people to know, i mean somone hacked my facebook account to find out about me. but it is nothing to be ashamed off, it may seem it at first but it helps to be comfortable in your self first and then other people will be, ifr you ever need me im here

When I finally found myself it took a little while to accept it, then I told my friends who said they don't mind, my family who said they still love me. So start with your longest bestest friends and tell them it hard to tell and you need their full support, then tell them. If they are good friends and accept you are who you are, you dont need to worry anymore. It will make you feel as if a weight is taken off your shoulders ( a good feeling :) I know). i too, do not except it myself because i know i tell anyone they wont accept me and will be very judgemental :/

Hey there, lady. :) First off, I'm not a lesbian, but I like to provide as much advice as I possibly can because I am aware that many, many people are very against gays and lesbians, and I want to make it clear that I am not. It's up to you how you want to take my advice seeing as I have not experienced this first hand.

I think that you should tell the friends that you know will still accept you. If they are true friends, they will stick by you no matter what. I know that if one of my friends came out, I would still accept her; just because she told me she was a lesbian wouldn't make me think any less of her. I would still want to be her friend because I would know her as a person. Your family, however, will probably need time to accept it. I say you tell them when you're ready. They are there to love you and take care of you and help you through problems. I'm sure that once they accept it and warm up to the idea, they will still love you.

Accept yourself for who you are, dear, and if others don't like who you are, then find someone who does. Never try to hide yourself or disguise yourself; nobody should have to do that. If you ever need to talk, I'm here to listen. :)

i have that same problem, when i was little i was always attracted to girls to and i to was ashamed of that. And i to would also try and try to convince myself that i was into boys when i really wasn't. But, at the same time the more i tried to convince myself that i liked guys, the more lost i was in finding myself. It took all the confidence and guts in the world for me to come out to my family and closest friends, and little by little i would tell people and everyday there was someone there supporting me, there will always be someone there to support you.Even if it's just one person. It takes a lot of courage to come out. But once you find the strength to do it, it feels like a weight is lifted off your shoulders. Just hang in there you'll be just fine:)

I had the same problem. It was to the point where I'd end up in my room crying for hours. It took me awhile to accept it. I finally was able to start we I looked into the mirror and said "I'm gay". it was my first step to acceptance.
