My girlfriend is, actually. She explains it as being attracted to the person, not the gender. So you'll date anyone as long as you care about them. Is that about right?

Yes, it's like it doesn't matter what sexual orientation the person is, you love them for who they are.
The only problem for me is I tend to fall in love with the gay guys ( I don't oppose gay people, my best friends are gay) it's just hard for me because I can't go out with them.

Do any of you guys know what a polysexual is? I have a general idea but not really.

from what i know, it's like bisexual, because it's a love for 2 genders. it's not a love for all, but many instead. if that makes any sense.

It's more than just two genders, though. Like it includes the transvestites and polysexuals. Sigh it's hard to describe

A pansexual is someone who doesn't care if a person is male, female, transgender, etc., instead they're attracted to a person's personality, rather than their outward appearance.

Awesome! I've identified as a pansexual for ages.
No one understands what it is though! It's so funny. I have to explain it everytime and they always say,
"Ohh, so you're bi?"
And I'm like,
"uhhh No, because pansexuality recognises there are more than two binary genders."
They never get it. So I end up saying "Queer is fine. I'm under the queer umbrella."
I'm glad I've found another pansexual!
