okay so i've come out to my friends about me liking girls and they said they was cool with it now they dont touch me all of them are straight and they hug each other but i get nothing before i told them they used to get dressed in front of me and everything now they wont even take off they sweater or jacket..im not interested in any of them what can i do so things can go back to normal?? will if go back to normal?
*High fives* for coming out though! I know how hard it is... Don't even get me started. haha.
Sometimes in these situations, you have to be blunt about how you're feeling. You don't like any of them romantically, so tell them that. Sexuality shouldn't be such of a big deal in this day and age, but unfortunately it is made that way. If they want to be your friend, then that requires them being comfortable with who(m) you are.
As for the hugging thing, I'm still atop that issue... Although tomorrow's my last day of school, and I'll be sure to give everyone a parting hug.
All I can say is sometimes it gets better with time; sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you just have to be blunt about the situation and your feelings on friendly issues.
