Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
If I'm hungry before bed, I try a small but filling snack--yogurt with granola/coconut/flax, or crackers and warm milk (with 1 tsp of coconut oil mixed in) if I'm hungry but heartburn-y (it is so weird to have the sensation of heartburn and hunger at the same time).
I also take 2 omega 3's in the morning, and 1 at night before bed.
Still too new to this diagnosis to know what else might be helpful in my routine.
