Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

I cannot tolerate rice and am avoiding anything rice related for now. I was going to retry it a few weeks ago before it all went pear shaped again. Once my tummy has settle I'll try it again. I've only just started adding LSA to my breakfast after many months and have no other nuts under my belt.
Whenever I'm ready to retry some foods I go bad for a while and then must before I'm ready again. You know the drill.
I don't react to rice well either, but in mashed potatoes at least the milk does not bother me. Maybe it is the small amount I use though.
What is LSA by the way? It is not something I am familiar with.
P.S. Good going. You are doing really great on moving forward with this. I give you a lot of credit friend.
LSA is ground linseed, sunflower seed and almond. I normally put a couple of dessert spoons with my fruit and yoghurt or oatmeal but am only putting a little sprinkle on. So far so good as nuts and seeds aren't our best friends. You can also get one with soy but like you I avoid that one. You can buy it in health shops or the supermarket. (health section) Once opened it must be kept in the fridge.
Very tasty. I may not have it every day but will enjoy the bit of crunch when i can.
