Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Just wondering if anyone has tried the PPI Dexilant? My GP mentioned it may be an option for me, to help with my main gastritis symptom, nausea. I was on tecta, but it wasn't working so well. Then recently I switched to prevacid. It was better than tecta, but had a few bad days, so I've switched to 2x a day....but will go back to 1x a day tomorrow as it's been a week.
My GP mentioned Delilant as apparently it releases some of the medicine in the morning and the rest in the afternoon (not sure how it tells time...lol). So it would give me better relief during the day overall.
Anyone tried it, and if so, how is it for you (especially comparing to other PPIs if you've tried them as well)

For me, my main symptom is nausea, so I need to take something that helps lessen it...not makes it worse. But I know everyone is different.
