I had my endoscopy yesterday and was told I don't have gastritis, or more specifically, I don't have H Pylori. Was told I'm fine, which, had left me deflated. i asked them to sedate me, which left me feeling like I was on another planet.

While talking to the nurse, another one (who was browsing her phone and playing music on the ward) said 'maybe you're stressed', which really upset me. I get that stress can be a factor, but her timing and delivery were not appreciated. I've lost 5kg in less than a month. I'm eating less than a toddler. My stomach constantly cramps and makes insane noises. My food just sits there, taking sometimes 12/18 hours to pass down to my lower intestine, I have acid reflux, certain foods cause the worst pain, my bowls are rediculous and there's a pressure behind my lower left rib cage. And this has been getting progressively worse.

I've suffered with tummy problems all my life. My mum told me I had gastritis as a toddler. I know something is wrong.

I'm not dismissing stress as a factor or cause, but hand on heart - I was not stressed when this all kicked off (although I am now!!).

Has anyone else has negative endoscopys but still diagnosed with gastritis? I know there are other conditions (gastroparesis is the next one to be ticked off the list).

Just feeling deflated and depressed. I want to eat properly again and have energy.
