Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

recently i have been diagnosed mild gastritis.
i am fully depressed to hear that, but the good thing is that there isn't any virus or bacteria present in my tests.

i feel like lazy sometimes and feels good sometime.

like today i walked down the street and came back after 20 mins but i was feeling like nausea and tiredness.

please advise but to do.

You can eat a lot of rice, potatoes, soft bread with that you won't loose weight.

no it is not essential but it happens because everything you eat makes you feel lousy!

Lesleygm: yes you are right stool is just like semi loss.
i am just wondering when this will be ended.

I personally lose weight when its bad because i just dont feel lie eating, but when i start to feel better and eat normal amounts the weight piles back on

Exectly the same happened to me as well. I haven't eaten a whole week and gradually lossing my weight.

But now since last 4 to 5 days I'm back to normal. So can i put my weight again?

I found it impossible to regain my weight.I gues that's because we are so limited in what we can eat and I need variety on my menu so I wont eat piles of rice or potatos.It also makes me loose my appetite.The funny thing is that for the past couple years I struggled with loosing weight(I guess your metabolism slows down when you approach your 40s)but now I have the total opposite problem of not being able to gain weight.Its crazy isn't it.

Actually i am not restricted for any kind of food. Just what i have done since last 2 months is that i not eating from outside and left coke sprite kind of drinks.
My age is 30 and had 92 kg 2 months before and now i am 83. It happens so quickly. May be the medicine whixh we are taking due to that side effect we are loosing weight.
one thing more these kind of medicines make your stool loss as well

I hope your feeling better. Ive been trying to recover since Oct 2014. Its a long process. I read some heal quicker some takes years.

I have suffered lots of weight loss. Its taking me so long to gain it. ive lost a total of 25lbs in 7 months. :(

i have lost almost 8 kg of weight in 2 months, but i was doing running and other kind of exercise as well.
now i released my hips are getting smarter :P
do u know what is the exactly reason of loss weight?

I've lost 40 lbs in the last year. I actually should have gained weight because of the high steroid use this last year, but instead lost weight from gastritis. I find it hard to want to eat any longer. I really have to force myself to eat each day. But I've been having digestive problems for 15 years, and seriously now for 4 1/2.
