Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

why wont my gastritis go away????????? im drinking aloe vera juice the one you make at home from the plant and im avoiding all things that im supposed to avoid but even at that it seems like my gastritis will never go away!!!!!! why is that? does light erosive gastritis ever go away or it doesnt have a cure????????????? can someone please tell me. thank you.

This isn't any help, but I am in actually the same position. How long have you had yours for? I am 3 months and counting?

When I was diagnosed last year the doctor said it would take up to six months before it was better and it was. I was super careful what I ate and drank too.

I am also suffering from 2 yrs ...also have lightheadness or vertigo feeling .... Depressed too much bcoz of this

Interesting to read from a couple of you that have also had vertigo with it. My story is that I had no stomach problems at all then had vertigo and a virus accompanied by mild indigestion starting last November. The Vertigo went after 3 weeks but the stomach problems remained and I am still suffering now. Whats the link between the vertigo and the stomach. Does anyone know?

I have been Diagnosed with gastritis, 6 weeks ago. I don't take med ication due to the side effects and the fact that i couldn't even hold down water. I got some slippery elm bark from the health food store. I drink that as a tea but it doesn't always work for me. I started taking extra virgin pine nut oil. It's amazing. It starts working IMMEDIATELY. I didn't know i suffer from vertigo until setting everyone else say it. And i have no idea what the connection is. Try extra virgin pine nut oil. Do ur own independent research but this has been working very well for me so far and this has been the only thing that has worked honestly. Like i said I COULDN'T HOLD WATER. 7 days without vomiting. This is a step in the right direction for me. And everyone is different. I'm hopeful i will get better. I hope u guys will too.

Hi everyone,
I have been on the post for a few months now....I'm much better than I was but still not quite there yet...on 20mg nexium each day..but just wondering..especially JUdithM..what were the foods that you ate mostly and what did you avoid eating...did you have any meds?...I still have that irritating ache just above my belly button and some times through to my back!!...praying for us all. :)

The extra pine nut oil is AMAZING.DID I SAY AMAZING. I can't stress this enough. I don't have any bloating, pain or vomiting. I am so happy. I know it's too soon to say I'm better but today is another step in the right direction.
