Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Maybe if you make an appointment with a GI doc and in the meantime, search here for 'dietary assistance,' it will give you ideas of things you can eat which should work better for you.
Personally, I did great on baked chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, and boiled carrots. Plain white toast or crackers are good, too. Yogurt might work. Think bland foods, even though it gets somewhat boring; it should pay off.
I hope you get an accurate diagnosis soon. Best wishes!!

It's annoying as I am so hungry but just don't know what to eat! Sticking to bland foods as you suggested and drinking so much Gaviscon!
I miss chocolate!! I hope it heals soon
