Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
She had me on Metagenics Glutagenics, Gastromend HP, Orthobiotic, Similase Digestive Enzymes and garlic pills.
For the gastritis I have now, my current naturopath just has me alter my diet (bland, mini meals, no drinking liquids with meals) -- but I'm also taking Pepzin GI on my own because I'm impatient and want this burning to go away faster.
My GP has not advised of kinda food I can eat while I am on the antiboitics I understand my stomach has been damaged by this nasty bug.
I heard broccoli is good and lean protein food such as fish and chicken breast as I workout and I have been feeling very weak and I need a good diet with good amount of protein.
