Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Great to hear that you are feeling better. My recommendation is to stick to vegetables soups and smoothies until you are fully healed and then start adding other foods slowly. If you want to have bread then bake your own using almond flour mixed with corn etc. Try fruits like bananas, cantaloupe, watermelon etc.
Wish you faster recovery. All the best.
My heart palpitations were caused by the PPI I was given. Went off the PPI cause it was making me sicker and have not had palps since.
