Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
yes Luqman is right... I have been battling this horrid condition for almost a year..I didn't get on with the PPI's at all, including zantac..(h2 blocker) had bad side effects...I am much better but not 100% from really blanding out my diet..no dairy/citric/spicy/alcohol or even processed foods...it's really difficult but can be done..plenty good lean meat/fruit/lots veg and for desserts I eat soya yogurts and digestive biscuits (not sure what they are called in us )..I still have a mild ache just about 2 inch above belly button and around the bottom of my ribs..which comes and goes daily sometimes goes through to my back which I really hate..but otherwise much better than I was. Did you ever get the pain around the bottom of your ribs?..not sure how that happens? anyone know? Praying for us all to get well :)
I have been taking pine nut oil for about 10 days now. I ordered it for H. Pylori. My stomach feels so much better now. I have a doctor's appointment this week and I know he will find a big difference. I don't intend to go on other types of medication. I don't think it is good for you and I now feel great.
After about 5 days, I noticed something else it was healing. I have painful fingers in winter (arthritis), and I noticed my fingers stopped hurting. Then I noticed my legs were getting me up and down the stairs faster, without all the pain and pills. I was going up and down so slow (I am 65), but now my legs carry me better.
I am hooked on the oil and will have to keep ordering it. I don't want to go back to my pain of the past. Keep up the good work, as your product works. My friend in TX was so impressed by my words, she is going to order it now.
A pleased customer,
So, since there are so many testimonials for this item, I am purchasing some ASAP! Just thought you might want to know!
I've taken pepcid, Pepto, tums,. Omeprazole.. I've changed my diet several times. The only thing that has gotten slightly better is the diarrhea after the first week. I feel very hopeless.. I've missed my anniversary and can barely focus on my work. Doctors just send me home and say it's a stomach bug and it's been 3 long weeks. There's no way. Nothing I do takes the nausea away. No acid reducers, nausea medicine, nothing. Its so uncomfortable to even stand. It really depresses me because I have no control or idea of how to fix this. It even makes me feel suicidal at times! 3 long weeks of pure nausea and chest tightness with no relief. It's the worst thing I've ever experienced
1: Organic Greek yogurt with a few nuts/sliced banana for breakfast (a litle honey) with some Raw spinach & carrots/Celery on the side.
2. Went vegetarian for a couple weeks than introduced chicken with mild flavors.
3. Rice & Beans
4. Lots of raw fruits & Veggies
5. Absolutley No alcohol, sugar, carbonated beverages, or citrus fruits/tomatos
6. small portions.
7. Take the pepcid/acid blockers... supliment with tums and pepto.
8. I also took carafate for 30 days early, then came off and after a day or two of increased discomfort, my condition greatly improved.
9. I did take meds to help with the anxiety & sleeplisness related to anxiety... Pantoprazol daily, Clonazepam nightly. That helped to curb the psychological issues. I am pretty much off of both of those now. I still use the pantoprazol on increasingly rare occasions.
I still have some minor discomfort, but nothing like the Branding Iron I felt in my stomach 2 months ago. Nausea and everything else has mostly subsided... I know I am improving every day.
Hang in there! It feels like it wont end, and you feel like your going crazy - but it is a real illness and these things are all related. It can and WILL improve. Godspeed!
