Used to be I could eat anything with no problems. I am now 60 years old. About 2 years ago I noticed that if I ate something like pumpkin pie, whip creams, some chocolate candies, maybe a Kahlua Crme (not all at once mind you!) or maybe some cookies, rich foods, etc. I would wake up in the middle of the night with as they say...my stomach on fire!
The last few weeks I have noticed that if I eat, as an example, some girl scout cookies, maybe an overdose of them (lol) then about 45 minutes later my stomach starts to get on fire.....seems to be happening a lot faster now.
Is this Gastritis?

Gastritis is no joke. Many of us probably started like you - a bit of mild burning here & there that we casually tolerate... & suddenly BOOM... your stomach will just burn like hellfire from anything & everything. It affects your entire life & well-being.
Burning = damage is being done that is not easily repairable.
Acid is the enemy & must be minimised/avoided from food/drink with acidic pH's. Equally food & drink that stimulate gastric acid production is also the enemy.
Go to your Doctor NOW. (Please!)
