Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Hang in there, try to have courage and most of all no matter what remember you have support and friends who care.
And since you ask, I'm doing okay. so-so. Healing from surgery has got me very sore and tired. I take 2-4 hour naps every day AND sleep from 8pm-7am. Low grade fevers, but the doctor said that's normal when healing...so, i've just been taking it easy.
Btw, the best thing to do, is when you have that gunk in your chest, try to cough it up and spit it out, so you get it out of your body. And Keep away from dairy products, because they tend to make more mucous.
Yes--one battle is quite enough. The good news is that I'm slowly finding I'm getting more 'good' days more frequently.
