Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I'm now week three of a flare up and once again I'm stripping it back to basics. Lots of soups etc. I'm cooking beef bones now to make my first beef soup ever. There is always something to learn.

I know that feeling brother. Had this for 2 years, was finally getting better and of course a flare up has to ruin everything. But yeah just use that knowledge of what caused the flare up to make sure it doesn't happen again. Sorry man.

I too am in flare up mode and it's very depressing just as I was enjoying life again and keeping the nagging tum under management quite well, now I am also back to basics, really depressed as I am on holiday and cannot eat and doing all those wonderful things which holidays are about! It certainly wasn't anything in particular that I did to set it off, I think this is how life will be it will come back to give a slap in the face now and then, trouble is it is such a slow healer that you never think it will ever get any better. And to you belly up. I had a really good day on Thursday so I'm hoping more will come. I don't enjoy this roller coaster ride one bit!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
