Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

fatfreeforever, yes, PPIs can interfere with calcium and magnesium absorption.
jim, can I ask which PPI you take? I take prevacid and always take 2x/day (morning and before dinner)
Why are you taking two a day?
For me i had to frequently change PPI till i found the one that suits me. It is named Mopral Pro here in France. I can take it one every 3 days or more and it still works.
I really wish people would spread word about Pepzin GI because my physician didn't know anything about it and neither did my GI doctor.
I also started taking sublingual methylcobalamine (absorbable version of B12), because Zantac, which I've been stuck with, creates B12 deficiency.
JunkFoodNoMore and shihonage, glad you've found something that works for you.
Try it.
