Btw, I highly recommend that everyone read Man's Search for Meaning by Frankl. It's about how Frankl, a psychologist who survived the Holocaust, found meaning in Germany's concentration camps. One of my favorite books of all time-- it talks about the role of suffering and meaning in life. I read it in a theology class in college, and so many people in my class said it changed their life. It did for me, too.

I'm currently working on my own collection of affirmations to get through each day. I'm tired of other people's ideas of what i need am building my own. It's amazing how good it feels to do this. Maybe its something we could all do.

I think we should each pick a fight song. Our own. One that reminds us of what we are fighting for and what we hope to gain. Something that inspires and gives us strength.

I've discovered my fight song. Anthem by Leonard Cohen.
My favourite line " There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." His words inspire me and now I have a fight song.

I think I will go for an American classic like Kiss "I want to Rock and Roll all night". Inspiring, upbeat and strong.

love the choice. many fond memories of KISS. I thought I'd pick a rock song too but Leonard Cohen is my favourite writer and that song just jumped out at me.

We had ours picked out to be Jack Johnson's "Better Together". The hubby is a huge guitar player/fanatic. Even though we never had the wedding we wanted, we still dance in the kitchen whenever I have a bad day.

Oh I did pick a gem. Waited ten years to get the wedding and then had to cancel the 2 years of planned celebration because of my health. Even had a colonoscopy done for me too!

well he was worth the wait. he is a keeper for sure. YOu deserve no less so I'm happy you both hung in there.
