Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Hi everyone,
The dietican at work suggested I try a roast vegie soup to get a little more flavour from my food.
With minimul olive oil I roasted pumkin, potato and sweet potato with mixed herbs.
While they were cooking I sweated some celery and carrot and then cooked them in stock.( I use a vegetaian - chicken 'style' stock).
Add the roasted vegies and stri through. Leave to sit for a while and then puree.
Delicious and no onion etc. Adapt to to what ever vegies your tummy can handle.
Give it a try and eat it in good health.

I asked my friend and she sauces her stocks from local delis and couldn't remember the brands. If you can manage beef maybe get some beef bones and make your own stock. I say beef coz you may not be buying chicken with bones to make chicken stock. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Maybe google it or ask the coeliac assn. over there.
