Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

It really is helpful to hear what people are eating. Maybe we can all expand our horizons--and our waistlines-- a bit by gradually adding new foods, a little at a time.
It is slow but we can all get to better health again. I may never fully heal from this, in that I may have to manage it on some level always but if I'm pain free and feeling well I can live with that.
This morning I tasted my first cup of weak tea since April 2010 and did it taste good. If its sits well with my I'll still limit my intake to maybe one cup in the morning.
Hang in there and together we can be well again.

I sometimes think it's more about overloading the digestive system than what you eat, though what one eats is certainly important, too.
