Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. so sorry to hear that you are struggling and in pain. It is hard to stay positive when you are in pain. I will be praying for you that your pain can come back under control and you can be more active again soon!
you can over come this! I know that at this moment it must feel so overwhelming, but you can do this!
Don't know where you are on this journey. Sounds like maybe you have been around a while. Stick to your plan and it wil happen for you.
Chronic pain is absolutely debilitating and I understand why you don't want to get out of your chair. Advocate for yourself and go back to your doc and keep trying until you are out of pain. There is no excuse for you to have to suffer.
Then go back to the basics. Protein shakes, water. You can do this honey!!!
Excersise. Can eat most anything. I am tired all the time.
Had my surgery in 2007.
One thing sticks in my head...my wife says she likes the old me better!
Brrr-22 degrees here in north Minn.
so sorry you're in pain, and having a hard time. I have been in a lot of pain for the last five years, and use a rolling walker to get around the house, but my pain HAS let up, since surgery and losing weight my first month post op.
Maybe you can see if you can get a walker, to take some of the weight off your feet and your pain ful areas????
I hope you find the way it works for you, and one that makes you feel less pain, and help you in your journey!!
Make sure you keep posting here, and ck'g in with us.
I wish you a happy and healthier New Year!

I hope you stick around and get back on track. It sounds like you are going to have to have to be incredibly tenacious to get things back under control. This is a great group of people - lots of wisdom and support!
