So I was reading some other forums and came across this thread titled "This things people wish they had known beforehand"

It has some wonderful insight and I wanted to share. If you do go read, take note that it has been updated by both men and women, at first, over a couple of comments, I was a bit confused till I remember it was written by both sexes :)

I agree with Maxine - one week out of surgery, it is all too much to take in. It may be helpful down the line but I prefer to take my journey now that I am on the losers bench one day at a time as opposed to contemplating things i may or may not go through - reading all of those things could cause unnecessary anxiety and I am too busy right now trying to maintain the day to day post-op. So far my journey has been event free, no complications at all and my prayer is that it stays that way. My belief is that If I stay positive I can continue to do this without preconceived notions about things that could possibly go wrong - this is just my opionion - the site may actually be helpful to some, but for this part of my journey, not for me. I can only do one day at a time right now. I did, however book mark it.
