Does anyone know if eating wheat berry is acceptable? I had the sleeve done 4mos ago and was just wondering.

Never heard of wheat berry. Is it some kind of dry cereal? Sorry no advise to give just curious what it is.

Sarge, wheat berry is the whole wheat grain before it is processed. I grind it into flour, cook it and use it in bread as one of the whole grains.

viccullen17, I had RNY, so I don't know much about the sleeve. I have oat groats every morning, so check with your nut, but I would think in moderation it would be ok.

I think you'll find them akin to brown rice and possibly hard to digest. Did you ask your nutritionist?
