I would call the doc tomorrow about the puree food not wanting to go down...that might be the issue but I hope not!
As for the pooping, it was a struggle for me too, until I started eating more things on my plan...I had a very aggressive approach to food per my doctor, and I am thankful as I am eating like a champ (when I remember)...
I had a bad poop stall while I was on vacation...tried colace for softening and then some fiber stuff to push through...took DAYS and I was miserable...haven't had a problem since though since I can eat whatever I want now.
Perhaps your doc can also suggest something to help you move things along.
Feel better!

I had to take murilax to finally go to the bathroom. I took it twice now everything seems okay. I am just hitting my 4 week this Tuesday.
I have been calling the nurse weekly with random questions or concerns. I have to say my dr office has been amazing. They are reassuring me on things i have coming up are normal part of healing. I was nervous too. I just decided to call and am glad I did.
And pooping... Well.. I am 10 1/2 weeks out and in horrible pain.... I take two colace a day and it is not working.. I got so constipated this week-end, that I took two dulcolax and oh my goodness.... The stomach pains started, and then I couldn't stop going... My poor behind is hurting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From what I understand, constipation can be a problem... We don't get much fiber in our diet.... I see my doc on Wednesday and we are going to have a serious talk cause this is the worst thing about my surgery so far....
Please, please call your doc about your food issue... That concerns me... Don't want anything to happen to you.. You are such a blessing....

Tuna was good for me...i couldn't try chicken until week 7+ but that's because I was never in a puree stage...I went from liquid (2 weeks) to soft (2 weeks) to medium soft/chewy (2 weeks) to real food...
Something you might be able to try (if you like it) is corned beef hash...it's soft and protein rich, but is a bit fatty...the fatty stuff doesn't bother me...i also could tolerate cottage cheese...but i was in kind of a funk for a while...
i have chucked a few things myself, when Patty decides she doesn't want what I put in her...fussy pouch...i can eat almost anything now...
did you get a list of pureed things you can have, or is it boundless and as long as you smoosh it you can eat it?
I an beginning to take some Fibers, Benefibres, let see if it is going to work...
For soft diet: beans/cheese, low fat corned beef hash, greek yogurt/canned fruit puree'd together, pureed ham/bean soup, cottage cheese/canned fruit puree'd.
