The day after I hit goal...I did the same thing I'd done the day before I hit goal.
After I'd lost a few more pounds and wanted to put the breaks on the weight loss, I added some nuts, mashed potatoes a couple times a week, fruit to my protein shake, and popcorn on occasion. I also added milk and yogurt to my protein shake (Ive taken them back out since then).
I still focus on protein first thing in the morning (30 grams within 30 minutes) and first at every meal. I get at least 70 grams of protein each day. Every single day, I take my multi-vitamins twice and my calcium three times. I weigh myself daily and if I see the scale start to creep up, I cut back on the nuts or other extras. I dont let myself get more than 4 lbs away from my target weight. This is how I plan to eat for the rest of my life.
The program we are on can be used for life. There is no need to find a new one. The other plans didnt work for me before, so Im not going to try them again, now. I havent looked at it lately, but I dont believe weight watchers has enough protein in it to meet our needs. It focuses lot on eating low-calorie filler foods. Our pouch needs us to make every bite count, nutritionally. Malabsorption is part of what we signed up for (GBS people).
Just my thoughts.

I also have had some very high excercise days and during that time, I will up my intact of caleries just to compensate.
I am 15# below were I thought I would be and I love it. I still have a limited wardrobe because I am afraid I won't keep off all the wt (110+#) Every time I buy something, I shrink some more.
Good Luck

It's a healthy way to eat. The day I hit my "goal" I did what I did the day before. Nothing really changes. This is for life!
The other "diets" didn't work and I gained weight on them. Why would I want to go back to those old eating habits.....
Check out eggfaces website. She's 5 or 6 years out now and her diet is a good example of maintainence. She blogs "a day in my pouch" an d tells us all what she is eating and has some great ideas and recipes to keep it from getting boring. I am not that organized or want to take that kind of time!
