I am almost 3 months post-surgery and, I seem to have hit a plateau. It is hard when you stop losing. Anyone have tips on how to get it started again or, do I just wait it out? On the good side, I have lost over 50lbs and sooo many inches since I started the whole process. I am also off one blood pressure med and will most likely go off the other one in Feb. I know we need to look at our health and well-being as well as the weight loss.

I'm right there with you - have been fluctuating between the same few lbs for about 6 weeks. It's part of the process and we have to tough it out. I'm starting to exercise more (haven't been daily and I'm sure that's part of my problem). Some say to up the protein even higher and drink more water.

Great news about going off meds! I haven't had to take BP med since I walked into the hospital for surgery. Major victory in my book!

I just noticed you and I had surgery the same day - Oct 25!

I did not lose a single lb through all of December. I did amp up the protein in Jan and have so far lost 14 more lbs. I did go down a pant size, so, I can't call the month a loss. I still haven's started an exercise routine, though.

This is totally normal. I am really impressed that you lost #50 in 3 months. That is fantastic. It took me well over a year to lose the first # 50. I am now 3 years out and # 130 pds and wear a size 6. Believe me I felt I would never get all the fat off but I did. Try upping your protien.
