So im down 17lbs which I'm very happy about but im a bit confused lol It seems to be easier to lose weight cause I was told I had to before surgery....why couldn't I have done this a long time ago and maybe I wouldn't be in this position!!

As a recovering alcoholic, with 5 and 1/2 years sober, I know all about rock bottom. I tried and tried to get sober for years and then I knew when hit my bottom when I was faced with losing everything that ever mattered to me, that was the last day I drank.
I have asked the same thing about my weight loss. I woke up one day and weighed myself, when I saw what the scale said, I sat down and cried like a baby. That was it. That was my bottom. Within a week I had scheduled myself to participate in a seminar at my surgeons office. Now here I am 3 months into my pre op monitored time, down 15 pounds and I am never looking back.
