Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I am 9 mos since surgery, and I'm in the same situation. I can't seem to get the weight to start coming off as it was. Mind you, I could be doing alot more to help it along I think. To date I've lost 130 lbs, but have at least another 40 to go before I'll be happy with things. I have heard that sometimes you may not lose weight, but during those times, you are losing inches, so maybe that's the case :o)
Anyway, good luck with things!!
Cheers
Bev :o)
Might also consider the 5 day pouch test to shake things up a bit.
