At 3 days out, you are supposed to be tired. it gets better each day. With a helper at daycare, you will find a way to make it work. :)

Also, it will take a while before you will feel full. You need to learn what this feels like for your new pouch.
At 11 weeks post, I still do not get a full feeling, but I do get satisfied, so I eat until satisfied and do not push it to full. Just a thought,... Sip Sip Sip! Get those fluids in.

It doesn't seem like it now, but trust me it gets better. Just make sure you are taking in your liquids and protein shakes. You're weak because your body went through major surgery and your food intake is far less than its used to. Hang in there, you'll find strength everyday. Before you know it you will be feeling back to "normal", actually no, you'll feel better than "normal"

Totally normal, Dori. Allow yourself time to heal and feel what is happening in your body. For many of us, it is the first time in decades that we can hear our own bodies and respond to them.

Take it slow, take your sips, take your time.

You ARE doing well, soon you will do better, then you will feel the best you have in years. :)

Very normal...all part of the healing process.....I was very weak for at least 2 months.

You will feel better - I promise. All of a sudden it will hit you - you will have done a ton of things in one day and still not feel that exhaustion and you will realize what this tool has given you. You are supposed to be resting at day 4!! Give your body some time....sending you lots of well wishes!!

I went back to work after one week and I was exhausted every day (somedays I did leave around one). But by week 3, all was pretty much back to normal. Now if I dont eat enough protein I still get that weak feeling but I am 8 weeks out and feel great most of the time!

Try and rest as much as you can, sip and make sure you are hydrated...

i am going into my 6th week out and am just starting to feel full

protein shakes and vitamins

4 days... yes you're gonna be tired. You just had major surgery. Give yourself as much of a break and some credit for going back to work.

Being tired and having no energy is my biggest complaint, so I'm lucky. I had my surgery 4/13 and am going back to work this Wednesday 4/27 (2 weeks out from surgery). I've already told them I may only work 1/2 days for a few days. I'm swamped so I may be glued to my desk when I get there. From what I've read here, this is normal for 4-6 weeks. Hang in there - it does get better!
