Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Further down the road, you can probably get it in in ways that would work for your schedule.
I'd suggest starting now to drink the minimum every day preop, you'll find out about the bathroom visits and have it down for postop :)
I don't have the problem and probably only take a potty break once every two hours, but I've been drinking 100 oz of water per day for a long time, so my body is used to it. I agree with Becca, start now - your body will be make a lot of changes with the surgery, so getting used to it now may work better for you in the long run.
