Sooo, I got up early with my boyfriend today because he had to go to work and I was going to head out to a local park right after sunrise for some running. They have a 1-mile trail around a lake, so you can easily clock your distance there, plus it's a beautiful day and scenery is beautiful, so perfect choice.
I went intending to do just a 3-mile wog (walk/jog), so I did that, but was really enjoying the new mix of music I put on my iPod last night for today and just kept going. I would sprint (not jog) until I couldn't catch my breath, then slow down and walk til I got my breath back, then do it again. The music was so good I couldn't help it. It felt so good, and I felt so strong!!
So I had this coupon in my email for a free Victoria's Secret water bottle, so I decided to walk over to the mall (another mile) to redeem it.. and I had to buy something from the PINK collection (oh darn!) to get it.. so I treated myself to some of their panties - they are so comfy! Size MEDIUM, btw! :) Got a few pairs of boyshorts and some lace thongs that I'm gonna return.. the boyshorts are very comfy though, especially the ones with the lace tops!
After VS I went to Sears and picked up a couple more pairs of Spandex for my workouts - got 2 pair for $6 each (size SMALL!) and a really cool t-shirt on clearance for $3. Woohoo!
Then I had to walk BACK to my car, which was parked on the other side of the lake, another mile.. so man, I was rockin' the workout! I got some funny looks walking around the trail carrying a VS bag, but who cares? lol *I* know what I did.. yup... don't judge!
Anyway, now I'm SO SORE! LMAO! But when it was all said and done, I had walked/run for 1 hour and 40 minutes, and for a distance of around 7 miles. OMG But I am so proud of myself and have new cute lacy things to wear! Breakin' out the cheeksters!!

You know Ive seen so many of you girls starting to run here like PattyG and Christine (wittch) and O. As you know I've had lots of time here lately and I to have started running the trail I've been hiking.
This Nazi nurse only givese so much time to hike this trail here! I can do a 4 mile loop in the 30 minutes before they send Bubba out looking for me. LOL there isn't a liquor or weed store for 20 miles so I really don't know where they think I'd go. (that's a joke as I'm as sober as I've been in 38 years)

That is so awesome!! I love the visual of you walking/running around town with the VS bag wearing your workout clothes.
That is such a great accomplishment. If you can do that...just think what is around the corner.
