My doctor told me to start my vitamins 1 week after surgery. When do you go back to see your doctor? What kind of vitamins do you have?

ideally, before surgery. So start right away. If you can't keep the chewables down, take it slow and easy.

My doctor added vitamins after one week post-op. I take Calcium, Iron, B12 and multivits. I also take Biotin for my hair.

I started before surgery also. I use a product by Bariatric Advantage.com that is a chewable multi-vitamin in berry flavor. You can order them online, or some doctors/nutritionists carry them in office. I take two a day.

My dr. said to wait a week post op. When do you see your surgeon again. I would ask them when they want you to start taking them.

thanks guys, I see my surgeon on Thursday to have staples removed. I have already purchased the Optisource chewable vitamins as recommended from someone on the site. I just don't want to anything out of turn. Thanks again, you guys are life savers.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
